A day at the seaside

Today we went down to the coast at Rockingham, which about 30 minutes from where Age and Tracey live, and where they're looking to buy a house.

I had my first play with Age's jet ski and found out that this was the most fun ever to be had sitting down, after an initial reluctance to have anything to do with water. I thought I'd better put at least one picture of me on the blog to prove I'm actually here (yes, that is me).

We then had some lunch and went out for a short ride along the coast on Age and Tracey's boat. We had a good view of the place where their wedding reception will be held on Sunday and the apartments where we'll be staying Saturday and Sunday night.

Well, as you can imagine, one cold (albeit crisp) November morning sees an office full of people snivelling after another drudge into work, for another same-old / same-old day....

Imagine their surprise to see that their colleague is also sharing that pain.... having joined the jetset and then belting around the azure seas on Jetski's...

I think Matt summed it up with his one word answer : one that questioned your parentage!!!

Anyhow - looks like you're having a great time - the blog's an entertaining read every morning - just try not to make it too cheery hey???

Have fun !!

No problem Paul - I've toned down the next entry - that frog's not looking at all happy

Frog's not happy? - I see "quietly confident" - it knows that if you stare at it too long it'll probably kill you... probably....

... actually, congratulations are in order that you've lasted a week and you're still breathing! - is the dangerous fauna reputation grossly over-egged?

Yes - we are quite pleased that we're not dead yet. When we were jet-skiing we wondered why a seaplane kept buzzing us - we found out later that 2 sightings had been made of a great white shark there that day.

We'll just live one day at a time..
